JOHN CASEY
is an award-winning novelist and Pushcart Prize-nominated poet from New Hampshire. He is the author of The Devolution Trilogy, a psychological spy thriller series, and Raw Thoughts: a Mindful Fusion of Poetic and Photographic Art, which garnered nominations for the Griffin Poetry Prize and National Book Award. PHiR Publishing released the sequel, Meridian: A Raw Thoughts Book, in 2021. His latest title is a philosophical poetry book titled Things of Little Consequence and he is a co-author of The Barn: A Mystery Novella. Casey's poetry has appeared internationally in numerous literary journals and magazines. He is currently writing Death Code: A Michael Dolan Spy Thriller.
A Veteran combat and test pilot with a Master of Arts from Florida State University, John Casey also served as a diplomat and international affairs strategist at U.S. embassies in Europe and Africa, at the Pentagon, and elsewhere. He is passionate about fitness, nature, and travel and inspired by the incredible spectrum of people, places and cultures he has experienced in life.

Death Code: A Michael Dolan Spy Thriller is a spinoff from The Devolution Trilogy. It takes place during the two years that elapse between the end of Evolution and the beginning of Revelation.
Synopsis: CIA officer Michael Dolan is sent to Colombia to track and collect on FARC splinter group guerrillas with direct ties to a large money laundering operation in Bogota and Medellin. What begins as a routine surveillance operation goes awry when he is ambushed and his partner is captured. Dolan's efforts to save his colleague take him to the jungles of Venezuela where he uncovers a terrifying plot by a shadowy and ruthless organization intent on overthrowing the government and starting a war that could destabilize the entire region.
Death Code will be released by PHiR Publishing in 2025.
